Community Features

Communities are the core unit for Daoing users to exchange ideas and participate in activities. Since it is difficult for existing social apps to meet the characteristics of Web3 communities, we have developed the following community features based on the pain points of existing Web3 users:

  • Stealth Mode: Users can turn on stealth mode in group chats so that their messages can be seen without revealing their identities.

  • Various Types of Communities: users can conveniently pull friends with one click to create small group chats, or build large communities with multiple channels that are easy to manage.

  • Every Community can be a DAO: With In-App governance modules, users can initiate proposals, vote on-chain and off-chain, execute proposal results and other functions, jointly manage the community, and contribute to the healthy growth of each community.

  • Token Gating: Users can set up a token as the access condition to a chat channel, so that communities can have better autonomy and privacy.

  • Community Post: It is easy to publish community updates with posts, and communities can also automatically synchronize tweets from their twitter accounts.

  • Community Bounties: For community members, they can contribute to the community and earn income or rewards (like Whitelist spots) by liking, sharing, or reposting community contents, or by completing community tasks.

  • Dapp Integration: Communities can set up Dapp links such as Defi, Gamefi, Governance etc. with one-click configuration, so that community members can chat and play in the same App.

  • Livestreaming: Communities can avail of livestreaming feature organise events such as AMAs or NFT auctions.
