Daoing vs Other Social Apps

The main differences are:
Built-in Web3 wallet: New users do not need to know about wallets in advance. Daoing allows each user to have a built-in wallet, so users can immediately experience Web3 operations such as purchasing cryptocurrency, transferring money, minting NFT, and playing blockchain games. Users can also import other third-party wallets into the Daoing wallet module, allowing them to use Daoing to manage all their Web3 assets.
Dapp (decentralized application) interaction: Telegram/Discord users need to interact with Dapps through robots added by the community moderators, but Daoing allows users to directly interact with Dapps through the chat interface without leaving Daoing.
Task system: Communities can grow users through the task system, or engage with existing users (ex. allowing users to complete tasks to qualify for whitelist).
Chat channels and flexible permission management: Compared with Telegram, communities in Daoing can set up different chat channels in the same community according to their own needs. These chat channels can be set with different access permissions, such as open to public, by invitation only, or owning a certain cryptocurrency (including NFT) as a condition to entry. Although the chat channels of Discord can do this, it requires setting up additional robots and creating guides for the user to follow to have it work.
Community governance: Every community created in Daoing have access to Daoing's built-in governance module. Whether it is intra-group voting or token-based on-chain governance, the community can use it as needed.
Content creation and display: Daoing's built-in Web3 module can easily cast the original content of the community into NFT, protect intellectual property rights with blockchain technology, and the community has a special display page to organize important content together, which is convenient for the community Group users who check at any time.
Spam blocking: Users in Daoing need to follow each other to become friends and have private chats. Users will not receive spam messages nor will they be invited into a group by non-friended users.
Crowdfunding: Daoing allows the community to conduct crowdfunding with Web3 payment options, which is very suitable for start-up teams to start a business.
Daoing and Damus have the following differences:
Login method: Both Daoing and Damus support anonymous login, but Daoing supports additional login methods, including Web3 wallet login, email login, or one-click login with social media accounts.
Censorship-resistance and social networking: Both Daoing and Damus use point-to-point encryption. However, Damus primarily uses a method similar to Twitter while Daoing mainly uses multi-channel community chats that also supports private chats and following friends’ updates.
Multi-network support: Damus is based on the Nostr protocol that supports the Bitcoin network. Although Daoing does not support the Bitcoin network at this time, Daoing supports major blockchain networks based on EVM (Ethereum, Polygon, BNB Chain, Avalanche, etc.).
NFT minting and display: Daoing allows users to mint NFTs without code and to display their favorite NFTs on their personal pages or share them on other social media, while Damus does not support NFT-related functions.
Compared with Signal, Daoing has the following main differences:
Point-to-point encryption: Both Daoing and Signal support point-to-point encryption, but Daoing does not require any personal data from users when signing up while Signal requires users to provide mobile phone numbers.
Cryptocurrency support and built-in wallet: Signal currently only supports the use of MobileCoin, but Daoing supports almost all mainstream cryptocurrencies and stablecoins. Daoing also allows users to import third-party wallets.
Group chat: The upper limit of Signal's group chat is 1,000 users while Daoing's community can have multiple chat channels where each channel has a maximum of 100,000 users, so there is almost no upper limit.
Livestreaming: Although Daoing does not have Signal's group voice system, users can start a livestreaming room and allow multiple users to speak. Also, there is almost no upper limit on the number of viewers.
Posting: The communities in Daoing have a dedicated Post page, which allows the community to post the latest news, updates, or important content (including pictures, texts, or videos from external links) for community members to check at any time.
